Spike had fallen asleep. When he woke up,
the first thing he was aware
of
was his raging hard-on. It throbbed at attention, painfully reminding
him
Willow had not yet satisfied him.
Willow knelt on the bed, his shirt loosely
draped on her tiny frame.
She had
snuck back to Giles' for their clothes. Afraid they might notice them.
She
had thought about writing a note, but couldn't think of anything nearly
believable.
She had remembered to steal some food and
the tub of pig's blood out of
Giles' refrigerator. A tingle of excitement had gone through her when
she
had tiptoed silently out of the empty house with her treasures.
Seeing Spike at the crypt, asleep, had
made her sigh. Maybe happiness,
maybe
lust. Whatever it was, she couldn't stay away. She had just wanted a
bit of
fun, something different. Now she was caught up in this elaborate war
against him. Willow feared what he might do if she revealed where the
key
was.
Where the key was. That's a thought. She
glanced around, ignoring
Spike's
fluttering eyelashes as he awoke. She tried desperately where she had
set
the little silver key when they had arrived earlier. She knew she had
slipped the cuffs in his duster as they left, but the key...
Spike studied Willow's confused expression.
She had realized she had
misplaced the key. He resisted a chuckle, closing his eyes for more
sleep.
He needed his rest.
The vampire fell asleep again, turning
the tiny silver key over in his
fingers, out of sight of the girl.
